There is no doubt that you will come across a lot of online Marathon Training tutorials. Most of the tutorials are quite good and I have used quite a few of them. However, there are some things that these tutorials do not cover. There are some tips and pointers that seem minor that can make all the difference to your training and the actual race.

I will highlight some Best Marathon Training Books that you can use that have been used by a number of athletes and I am sure you will find them quite useful too. Sometimes these best marathon training books come with bonus material like DVD’s or you can get them in the form of eBooks.

In addition to different training programs it also has dedicated pages that focus on injury prevention and nutrition. The book is composed of 19 chapters made up of 374 pages making the information in it quite comprehensive.

For those that look at running as strenuous, tough, and tiring, this book will make you see things differently. Once you go through the health benefits of running you will enjoy your training more. You can get this book brand new at a price of about $13.50 and 2nd hand for about $12.20.

This is one book that will take a novice runner and turn them into a renowned athlete. What most people love about this book is the way the author breaks down and simplifies everything for you. As you go through the book you are left with no questions as to what you need to do and how you are going to do it.

If you are an athlete that wants to keep improving and getting better year after year then this is the book for you. The book is available brand new at a price of about $10.20 and 2nd hand for about $6.00.

The disadvantage of this book is that it does not have sections on nutrition & diet or injury prevention which is much-needed advice to keep you on track. You can get the book brand new for $12.00.
